In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

The only way for a person to give thanks and mean it in everything, is if our motives, purposes, and intents through every situation is not selfish, but rather heavenly instead. Do we usually try to make life events have a certain outcome that is better for ourselves, or do we hope the outcome furthers the advancing of the gospel to Gods Glory?
Simply put, how can we be a thankful people if we want our way all the time and don't always get it? We should want Gods way above our own. His will can always happen.

Philippians 4:6 (Whole Chapter)
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Sometimes its life that we forget to pray to God about. Just talk to him about everything you will be so glad you did!

If God’s grace never touched your life, what would you probably be doing differently today? Where would you be?

The course of my life has altered dramatically. The reason I am who I am, and I’m where I am is because of God alone. It’s sad to think that some people who know me have no idea that the only reason they do is because God saved me from a life of sin to serve him and then placed me here in this town for the gospel sake!
